Application call for the NSTC International Internship 2025. The National Science and Technology Council (NSTC) is offering an International Internship Pilot program to attract global talent from all around the world and provide an opportunity to engage in advanced studies and kick-start their career in Taiwan.
The duration of the internship is 1-3 months, starting anytime between June – December 2025. NSTC is inviting applications from students currently pursuing their Undergraduate, master’s, & PhD degree programs from foreign institutes. The selected interns will do their internships in participating academic and research institutions in Taiwan. The internships are available in a wide range of academic fields and majors, including science and technology, engineering, modern agriculture, humanities, and social sciences. digital economy and much more.
The NSTC internship offers an opportunity to gain hands-on research experience while working on NSTC-funded projects under the supervision of project leaders. National Science & Technology offers a market-competitive stipend, interns will receive a stipend of NT$1,000/day for the duration of the program. Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible for the NSTC Taiwan Internship:
- NSTC internship is accepting applications from all foreign nationals
- Citizens of China, Macau, and Hong Kong are not eligible to apply
- Currently pursuing bachelor’s, master’s, & Phd degree programs from foreign institutes
- Applicants focused on key research areas in Taiwan
- Proficiency in the English language
