Applications are open to apply for the NUS Internship and Research Immersion program in Singapore. The National University of Singapore offers a 2-month fully funded (IRIS) program to exceptional international students from around the world to experience immersive research and glimpse into graduate studies at NUS, Asia’s leading institute. There is no academic restriction to be eligible for the program. Undergraduate and master’s students pursuing their education in any field or major are invited to submit their applications.

The program will commence at the National University of Singapore from June to July 2025. During the program, interns will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience by working on ongoing projects in world-class facilities under the supervision of a dedicated NUS faculty member. Beyond research, the program includes some enriching experiences, including city tours, workshops, and industry visits.

Internship Location & Duration

• The internship duration is 2 months, which will commence in NUS, Singapore

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the IRIS NUS, Internship in Singapore, you must meet the following criteria:

• The internship is open for all nationals
• Students in an undergraduate and a graduate degree program in any field or major
• Undergraduate students have completed the first two years of the degree program
• Master’s students must be in the first year of the degree program
• Have a strong interest in the academic research

Internship Coverage

• The internship offers a stipend of SGD 1,200/Month
• Travel Allowance of SGD 600
• On-Campus Accommodation

Program Benefits

• Interns will have intensive research experience in state-of-the-art research facilities
• Interns will receive guidance and mentorship from the faculty members
• Participate in interactive workshops, project presentations, and networking sessions
• On completion of the internship, all interns will receive the NUS Graduate School certificate

Note: The NUS internship has 3 intakes for the session 2025-26, students who are not interested in the June-July intake, can specify that on the official portal.
