Applications are invited by the Male nationals of Pakistan from all across Pakistan. Candidates who have completed their FSC/A-Levels (12 Years) with a minimum of 55%, Graduation (BS/BA -(Hon)/BBA/BPA) with a minimum of 60%  are invited to apply. Candidates who will be selected for the PMA Long course will go through 2 years of intense training program at PMA,  Abbottabad after completing the training program the cadets will get the rank of 2nd Lieutenant and serve their country as an Officer.

Eligibility Criteria

Citizens of Pakistan meeting the following requirements are eligible to apply

For Intermediate or Equivalent:

• Education:
  • Have completed FA/FSC/A-levels with minimum 55% marks
  • A-level students with an aggregate of 55% marks are eligible to apply
• Age requirement:
  • 7-22 years with 3 months of age relaxation on an upper lower case
• Hope Certificate:
  • Candidates who have completed the FSc part 1 can also apply through the hope certificate of 55% marks duly signed by the head of the institute

For Graduates (4 Years Education):

• Education:
  • Candidates who have completed BA/BSC/BA/BSC Hons with a minimum of 60% or above with 50% in FSc are eligible to apply.
• Age requirement:
  • 17-24 Years with no age relaxation

For Graduates (2 Years Education)/Airforce/Navy personnel

• Education:
  • Completed 2 years of graduation with minimum 60% marks
• Age requirement:
  • 17-23 with 3 months of age relaxation

Serving Army Soldiers

• Education:
  • Army soldiers who have secured 50-55% marks in FSC
• Age Requirement:
  • 17-25 years

Physical Standards:

• Minimum Height Requirement: 5’4 (162.5 cm)
• Weight: As per the Body Mass Index
• Gender: Male
• Selection Process

1. Preliminary Selection Process

• Once you have registered for the long course, now you will go through the initial test also known as the preliminary test which consists of:
• The computer-based test consists of (Verbal, non-verbal, and Academic questions)
• The physical test consists of running, push-ups, crunches, and pull-ups
• Medical Examination

2. ISSB

• The ISSB also known as the Inter Service Selection Board is a rigorous four-day selection process, the selection is based on various assessments including various group activities, interviews, and psychological evaluations. 

3. Final Medical

• The selected applicants will now go through the final Medical

Pakistan Military Academy Kakul 

• Selected candidates will get 2 years of training in PMA, Kakul Abbottabad as cadets after completing the program they will be appointed as 2nd Lieutenant in the Pakistan Army.

Documents Required

Applicants need to submit the following documents to the Army selection and recruitment center

• Mark sheets and original certificates of FA/FSC or equivalent
• Copy of National ID card or Form B
• Copy of guardian (Father, Mother) national ID card
• 3x passport-size photos
• Photocopy of the “Not recommended letter” for those who are appearing again

How to Register?

Applicants fulfilling the required criteria need to register online via an official portal

Once you have registered on the official portal now you have to wait for the exam slip it usually takes 5-6 days to generate a slip. Once you receive the slip you need to appear on the exact dates for the tests as mentioned.
