Application call for the Radboud Scholarship Programme 2025-26. It’s a competitive and selective scholarship offered to highly talented, motivated students from non-European countries with excellent academic records to pursue a full-time English-taught master’s degree program at Radboud University in the Netherlands.

For the academic session 2025-26, the institute will grant a maximum of 18 Radboud scholarships in the Faculty of Arts, Nijeman School of Management, Faculty of Philosophy, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Social Sciences. The scholarship grant offers reduced tuition fees, visa costs, residence permits, health insurance, and other related costs that we will discuss later in this post.

Faculties & Awards

For the Academic session 2025-26 18 scholarships will be granted to the faculty of:

  • Faculty of Arts: 3
  • Faculty of Science (4)
  • Nijmegen School of Management (3)
  • Faculty of Philosophy, Theology, and Religious Studies (1)
  • Faculty of Social Sciences (4)
  • Faculty of Law (3)

Eligiblity Criteria:

  • Open for Non-EU/non-EEA citizens
  • Have achieved an undergraduate degree with an outstanding record outside the Netherlands.
  • Applicants did not receive any previous degree from the Netherlands
  • Meet the language requirement for the Masters program
  • Have secured admission in the English-taught masters program starting September 1st, 2025

Scholarship Coverage:

The scholarship grant offers:

  • Reduce tuition fees to €2.530 instead of €17,000
  • Covers Visa costs
  • Residence permit
  • Health insurance & Liability insurance

Note this is a partially funded scholarship, the costs of living are not covered under the Radbound scholarship program.

Selection Criteria:

The selection is based on the 3 major things:

Academic Excellence:

  • Have outstanding results in an undergraduate program
  • Relevance of your previous degree with the Masters program you are applying for.

Ambition:

  • Quality of motivation letter for the Master’s program
  • Experience or extracurricular activities

Reference

  • Quality of recommendations in the reference letters

 How to Apply for 2025 Radboud Scholarship Program?

While applying for the Radboud Master’s degree program in the OARSIS application system you need to mention that you wish to apply for the Radboud scholarship, after that, you will be requested to upload additional documents that include 2 reference letters and a CV.

Note: If you have already uploaded the required documents in the Masters degree application, you can also use the same documents again for the scholarship application.

Admission to master’s and scholarship are separate processes, applicants admitted to the master’s degree does not guarantee selection for the scholarship.
