Application call for the Scotland Pakistan Scholarship for session 2024-25! The scholarships are offered to young women to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and MPhil degree programs from HEC-recognized institutes across Pakistan. The Scottish Government funds the scholarships with the aim of making higher education more accessible for women.
The scholarships are offered for a wide range of subject areas including Education, Sustainable Energy, Health Sciences, Food Security, Agriculture, and Stem related fields. Female applicants residing in Pakistan can only apply for this scholarship program. The scholarship covers Tuition Fees university hostel costs, and travel allowance where applicable.
British Council highly encourages young women with disabilities, minority groups, and from rural areas to apply for the Scotland Pakistan scholarships for Young Women and Girls. Who can Apply?
- Female nationals of Pakistan currently residing in the country

Scholarship Coverage
The scholarship provides the following coverage to the selected scholars:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Hostel costs
- Travel from home to institute two times a year
Documents Required:
- CNIC Copy of Student/Parents
- Parents’ Salary Slip or Pension Slip
- Copy of result or certificate of most recent degree
- Copy of offer letter from HEC-recognized institute
- Personal Statement of 500-1000 words that should explain why are you the best candidate for this scholarship.
