The University of Siena Excellence Scholarship provides an opportunity for international students to pursue a full-time master’s degree program at Università di Siena. Italian nationals are not eligible to apply for the scholarship. The goal of the scholarship program is to support outstanding students and promote its academic offerings.
The Excellence Scholarship is valued at $6,000.00 annually (gross amount) per year, and it is renewable for a second year, amounting to a total of $12,000.00 gross. The funds are used to cover living expenses, tuition fees, and other costs related to the program. The University of Siena scholarship is highly competitive, as students from around the world compete for limited slots. Applicants holding a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institute outside Italy are invited to submit their applications.
The scholarships are awarded for pursuing a master’s degree in selected fields such as economics & law, political and social sciences, medical science, and biomedical science. Scholarship Coverage
The Excellence Scholarship offers support of €6,000.00 annually, renewable for the other year, making it 12,000.00 euros over two years.
Who can Apply?
Candidates meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:
- Applicants holding non-Italian citizenship are invited to apply
- Students who completed their degree(e.g bachelors) from a non-Italian institution can apply
- Individuals holding dual citizenship, including Italian, are not eligible
- Have applied for the eligible master’s degree program at the institute

How to Apply?
The application process is via offical institute portal. Applicants who have already applied for one of the eligible master’s degree programs will be considered. All applicants must submit the scholarship application from the same account they used for their admission application. The institute charges a nominal fee of 10 euros to submit the scholarship application.
