Singapore AI Safety Fellowship 2026 (Fully Funded)

Are you passionate about artificial intelligence, AI governance, machine learning, and AI safety? Do you want to conduct research in Singapore while receiving financial support? Applications are invited for the Singapore AI Safety Fellowship 2026. A fully funded fellowship program in Singapore, hosted by Singapore Safety Hub (SASH), allows outstanding researchers from around the world to conduct cutting-edge research in AI safety while contributing to real-time projects under the supervision of leading mentors.

The fellowship program lasts 3 months, from September 21 to December 4, 2026. It’s a highly paid fellowship program; fellows will receive a stipend of $5k SGD/month plus housing and travel support. About the AI Safety fellowship in Singapore

It’s a flagship research initiative of the SASH that aims to connect researchers with leading mentors in AI safety and governance. The fellowship allows researchers to conduct 3 months of research in Singapore. Fellowship Coverage

Selected fellows will receive the following support:

  • Receive a SDG 5000 monthly stipend for the program duration
  • Free accommodation during your stay
  • Round-trip airfare coverage
  • Compute allowance of USD 30,000 for eligible projects
  • Fellows will be working in the Central office space in the city
  • Partiicpate in workshops and social events with peers and mentors
