Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program 2026 – Fully Funded

Once again, we are here with an exciting, fully funded fellowship in Taiwan that you should not miss. Applications are now open for the Taiwan AID NGO Fellowship Program 2026. The Taiwan Alliance in International Development (Taiwan AID) is pleased to announce the call for applications for its flagship “NGO Fellowship Program” and invites applications from young professionals in eligible regions (South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands) who are passionate about making a positive impact in their communities.

A 3-week immersive fellowship is scheduled to take place in Taipei, Taiwan, from October 4 to November 1, 2026. This prestigious fellowship aims to provide young professionals with valuable insights into the workings of Taiwanese NGOs. The fellowship offers a unique experience through intensive workshops and networking opportunities with peers and Taiwanese NGO experts. Individuals from diverse professional backgrounds are invited to submit applications, and fellows will be placed in NGOs according to their backgrounds.

During the fellowship, the selected fellows will engage in day-to-day operations and gain real-time work experience for three weeks. No application fee is required to apply for the Taiwan AID fellowship; the deadline for submission is June 1, 2026. Read more details below.

Financial Coverage

It’s a fully funded fellowship programme in Taiwan, the fellows will recieve following support from the host organization:

  • Round-trip airfare coverage
  • Accommodation for 3 weeks
  • Meals
  • Local Transportation Costs
  • A daily stipend

Eligible Countries

The fellowship is accepting applications from the citizens of the following countries:

  • South Asia: Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, and the Maldives
  • Southeast Asia: Brunei, the Philippines, East Timor, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar,  and Vietnam
  • Northeast Asia: Japan, Mongolia, South Korea
  • Pacific Islands: Marshall Islands, Tuvalu, Palau

Eligiblity Criteria

Individuals meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:

  • Citizens of the above countries are invited to apply
  • Professionals working in the following preferred fields are encouraged to apply:
  • Community Development, Women’s rights, Education, Human Rights and Civic Engagement, Social Innovation, Entrepreneurship, Children and families welfare, and emergency relief.
  • Outstanding professionals in other fields can also apply
  • Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in the NGO sector
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and professional excellence
  • Age requirement: 25 to 40 years old
  • Fluency in the English language, both written and oral

Fellowship Features

  • NGO Placement: Fellows will be placed in Taiwan NGO’s as per their professional backgrounds.
  • Capacity Building: Participate in intensive workshops on fundraising, project management, and advocacy.
  • Roundtable event: Attend the roundtable event by the end of the program to share your practical experience with experts
  • Fellows will propose a project by the end of the fellowship for future cooperation
  • Become a part of the Alumni network to stay connected
