To all the aspiring students seeking international internship opportunities, do you want to gain hands-on experience in one of the leading automotive interiors companies in Japan this summer as an intern? Toyota Boshoku, a global leader in future mobility, has announced the applications for its flagship “Toyota Boshoku Internship program 2026” and invites applications from talented and motivated international students from all across the world. It’s a 5-week internship program scheduled to take place in Aichi, one of Japan’s dynamic cities, from June 22 to July 31, 2026. The internship is designed for students currently pursuing their bachelor’s and master’s degrees in engineering, business administration, design, or relevant fields from internationally recognized institutions.

All expenses related to the program will be covered by the host organization, which includes housing, utilities, meals, and a living allowance. The internship positions are available in a wide range of areas, such as sales, quality assurance, corporate planning, Automotive Interior and exterior, and more, which we will discuss later in this post. Internship Objective

The objective of the internship program is to provide students with hands-on experience while working on real-time projects under the guidance of renowned experts, enhance their soft and technical skills through intensive tranings and mentorship, and expand their global networks with professionals and experts.

Eligiblity Criteria

Students must meet the following criteria to apply:

No country restrictions open for all nationals
Academic status: students currently enrolled in the penultimate or final year of (Bachelor’s or Master’s) degree programs.
Academic background: pursuing their degree program in electrical, mechanical, and industrial engineering, Business Administration, and design or related areas are invited to apply.
Profiency in the English Language
Knowledge of the Japanese language would be an asset
Willing to relocate to Aichi, Japan, during program dates

Internship Coverage

The company will cover the following expenses of selected participants:

Free Accommodation in Aichi Prefecture
A living allowance to cover the living expenses during the program
Meals during the program
Access to utilities (electricity, water, etc)
Participation in cultural excursions and activities

The program does not cover:
