Today at Opportunities Radar, we are here with an immersive short-term visiting fellowship in Ireland that one should not miss out on. Applications are open for the UCD Visiting Fellowships 2025, scheduled to take place in University College Dublin, Ireland.
A fully funded fellowship offered by the Center for Sustainable Development, the School of Politics and International Relations, University College Dublin, Ireland, is inviting applications from outstanding researchers to support the Center’s research and engagement activities. The duration of the fellowship is 3 months, which will run in two cycles. Either you can choose your fellowship period from (1st September – 30th November) or (1st February – 30th April).
The UCD fellowship offers comprehensive support that covers expenses of up to €10,000 for the entire fellowship period. The funding is enough to pay for your necessary expenses related to the program, such as (Visa fees, Flight costs, Accommodation, and living costs). The applications are invited by the Early career researchers, and published scholars with a strong track record of publications and teaching in the areas that are aligned with CDS’s work, e.g, Development studies, gender studies, agronomy, rural sociology, digital agriculture, etc.

Fellowship Period
The visiting fellowship at UCD runs in 2 cycles; fellows may choose one of the following periods:

Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to apply for the UCD fellowship
- The UCD visiting fellowship is accepting applications from all nationalities
- Early career researchers & Established scholars up to 15 years post-PhD with a strong publication and teaching record in the fields aligned to CSD’s work are invited to apply.
- Fields aligned with CSD’s work: Rural sociology, political economy, agronomy, gender studies, digital agriculture, or ICT4D.
