It’s a full-time home-based internship program offered in the UNCDF agency, one of the specialized agencies of the United Nations, which works to help unlock finance in least developed or small island countries.
The duration of the assignment is 6 months, during which the selected interns work under the guidance and supervision of the strategic engagement and partnership specialists and assist with the ongoing work and the fund unit goals. The UNDP is recruiting for a total of 3 vacant positions. The Internship programme will be held completely in English; applicants must have strong English communication skills to apply. Eligibility Criteria
Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to submit their applications for the Strategic Engagement internship position:
- The internship position is open to all nationals
- Students currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate degree programs, or are recent graduates in the fields of International Law, Economics, Policy, Economic development, business, public administration, or related fields
- Undergraduate students must be in the final year of their degree programme
- Must start the internship within one year of graduation
- Enrolled in a postgraduate professional trainee program
- Excellent command of the English language
- Interns must have access to fast internet and a computer
