Applications are invited for the UNDP Project Management Analyst 2026. United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) via its offical portal has recently announced the “Project M&E and Implementation Analyst” position and invites applications from talented and motivated applicants to fill the newly announced vacant position. It’s a full-time role based in Peshawar, Pakistan. Selected applicants will be appointed on Grade NPSA-8. They will be working within the Merged Areas Governance Programme under the Democratic Governance Unit, supporting the Government of KPK in the development and service delivery, border governance and connectivity, local governance services, and disaster risk reduction.
The position is seeking applications from outstanding applicants holding a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Social sciences, Public Policy, research, Administration, or related fields. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the position, you must meet the following criteria:
- UNDP invities applications from self-motivated and talented applicants
- Holding a Master’s or equivalent degree in Public Policy, Research, Economics, Social Sciences, Administration, or related areas
- Holding a bachelor’s degree in the desired fields with 2 years of relevant professional experience
- Have secured their degree from a recognized institute
Required Skills
- Experience in managing and implementing M&E frameworks
- Knowledge of Office software packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative data
- Work experience in the KP government would be an assett
- Work experience in NGO’s/UN-funded programmes
- Fluency in English or Urdu
Programme Analyst Responsibilities:
The Project M&E and Implementation Analyst will be assisting with:
- Monitor the ongoing projects and track their progress
- Collect and analyze the project data
- Prepare reports and presentations
- Plan and initiate project activities
- Identify the problems and suggest solutions
- Assist the field teams with implementation
- Maintain the project reports
- Assist with any other duty as needed
