Applications are open for the UNICEF Digital Communication Internship 2026. UNICEF, through its official career portal, has announced an application call for the “Digital Communication (Polio Programme) – Intern” position for its Islamabad, Pakistan, office and seeks applications from talented and dynamic applicants, both male and female, from across Pakistan. The internship lasts 6 months, during which interns will support the digital communication landscape and develop engaging content for the digital platform to reach a diverse audience.

The Digital Communication internship invites applications from students currently enrolled in undergraduate, graduate, or PhD programs, or who have secured one of these degrees within the last two years, in the areas of communication, marketing, visual design, journalism, or related fields. Students with experience in public health communication would be an asset. It’s a paid internship program; UNICEF offers a competitive monthly stipend to its interns for the duration of the program.

Eligiblity Criteria

Accepting applications from the citizens of Pakistan
Both Male/female applicants from across Pakistan are invited to apply
Students currently pursuing their undergraudate, graduate, or PhD degree program, or have recently graduated within the past 2 years in the fields of Communication, marketing, journalism, visual design, or related areas from recognized institutes, can apply
Experience in public health communication is an assett
Demonstrate interest in promoting awareness via social platforms
Fluency in the English Language
Applicants must possess at least two years of relevant work experience

Required Skills

Applicants with the following skills will be preferred
Proficiency in visual design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, and Capcut)
Knowledge of social media platforms, Meta, TikTok, and YouTube
Familiar with monitoring tools like Meta Business Suite, Google Analytics, etc
Excellent communication skills
Ability to manage the project and meet the deadlines
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
