An intensive, self-paced virtual course jointly organized by the ESCAP (Economic & Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific) and the World Bank Group, aims to equip paricipants with practical hands-on strategies to address post-implementation challenges related to the Single Windows, through case studies, expert sessions, hands-on exercises, and more. The course is designed for government officials, policymakers, technical experts, professionals from academia and civic society, or individuals with an interest in trade facilitation and Single window systems.

There are no country restrictions, individuals holding any nationality are invitied to apply. The online course consists of 11 modules, each of approx 20 minutes, and 4 expert video sessions that you need to complete between December 8, 2025, and January 31, 2026. You don’t need any physical presence to complete the course; you require a laptop with a stable connection, that’s it. The registration is online via the UNESCAP official portal. The online course consists of 11 interactive modules, categorized into 4 strategic Kits, designed to address the critical challenges of NSW sustainability and effectiveness.

  • Kit 1: Foundation & Framework Initial Assessment
  • Kit 2: Foundation Frameworks and Governance
  • Kit 3: Technical Sustainability & Change Management that addresses:
    • Technical Infrastructure Enhancement
    • Cybersecurity essentials
    • Change Management & BPR
  • Kit 4: Integration & Further Improvement
