Students from the eligible countries who apply and receive an offer letter to pursue a full-time master’s program at the University of Birmingham’s campus are eligible for the scholarships. The £4,000 125th Anniversary scholarship will automatically deduct the amount from your tuition fee if you meet the eligibility criteria, eliminating the need for a separate application. However, Indian students must submit a separate application for the exclusive £5,000 India Chancellor’s scholarship.
The university awards the scholarships based on eligibility criteria, the application, and the admission process. The university will send scholarship letters to successful students between March and August 2025, following the completion of the admission process.

Eligiblity Criteria:
In order for the international students to apply for the 125th Anniversary scholarships, they must fulfill the following requirements:
- Apply and receive an offer to study a taught Master’s degree at The University of Birmingham (UK Campus) for the 2025/2026 academic year.
- You are a resident of one of the eligible countries.
- The university must classify you as an overseas fee payer for tuition purposes.
- You must start your studies in September or October 2025 in the full-time master’s program.
- The 125th Anniversary Scholarship worth up to 5,000 pounds is exclusively for students domiciled in India.
- Students who have received a full tuition fee scholarship from an external organization are not eligible to apply.
Exclusions:
- Students studying at the University of Birmingham Dubai campus are not eligible to apply.
- Other postgraduate programs, such as MBA, MRes, PhD, MPhil, MMus, MLit, PGDip, and PGCert, are not eligible.
- If you postpone your start date until September 2026, you will lose your eligibility, as this scholarship is exclusively available for September 2024 entries.
