A prestigious summer program hosted by the University of Oslo, Norway, offers an incredible opportunity to motivated bachelor’s and master’s students from approximately 90 countries to enroll in 4-week short courses and intensive Norwegian Language courses. Beyond academic content, participants will take part in cultural activities designed to immerse them in Norway’s rich culture and enhance their understanding of Norwegian society. The objective of the summer program is to promote academic cooperation and foster intercultural understanding. Coverage
The University of Oslo is offering two types of scholarship categories for the summer program:
Basic Fee Scholarship
- The scholarship covers the participation and tuition fees for the program
ISS Accommodation Scholarship
- Participants selected under this scholarship category will recieve comprehensive support which covers Tution fees, participation fees, accommodation, meals, Oslo travel card, and Travel coverage
Scholarship Eligiblity Criteria
- Scholarships are primarily reserved for master’s level courses
- Bachelor’s or Norwegian language courses are not eligible for grants
- Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic achievements
- Academic background must be relevant to the course being applied for
- Complete the dedicated scholarship form
Ineligibility Criteria
- Citizens of EEA/EU/Switzerland are not eligible
- Applicants who have previously received an ISS scholarship
- Canadian and USA citizens are also not eligible for the ISS scholarship
- The scholarship is not available for Bachelor’s and language courses
