The United Nations University has recently made the “Junior Fellows internships” announcement through its official portal, and is inviting applications from talented and self-motivated students from all around the world to apply.
A fully funded internship program in Japan, exclusively designed for postgraduate students, graduates, and professionals in relevant fields. The duration of the internship is 6 months (approx 24 weeks), which will run from August to February 2025 at UNU Headquarters, Tokyo. Internship Purpose

Who can Apply?
Applicants fulfilling the following criteria are eligible to apply:
- UNU is accepting applications from all nationals
- Students currently pursuing a master’s or Phd degree program or graduated within two years of graduation in a field related to the University’s work.
- Applicants aged 32 or below at the time of application
- Does not possess more than 5 years of work experience
- Fluent in the English language
- Have excellent interpersonal and analytical skills
- Maintain effective relations with people from diverse backgrounds
- Have excellent creative and problem-solving skills
- Know advanced computer skills, e.g, MS Office applications)
- Demonstrate interest in the work of the United Nations
