USEFP Fulbright FLTA Program 2025, USA | Fully Funded

United States Education Foundation in Pakistan has announced an application for the Fulbright FLTA Program 2025. Foreign Language Teaching Assistant (FLTA) is a 9-10 months non-degree program in the United States of America that is offered to young English teachers in Pakistan. The program will help in refining teaching skills and gaining knowledge about the culture and society of the United States.

The FLTAs will teach their native language (Urdu, Pashto) to US students at selected colleges and universities. During the program, you will also be engaged in multiple extracurricular activities and community outreach projects. The application process for the Fullbright FLTA program is online. All the young English teachers teaching in Pakistan are encouraged to apply.

About USEFP Fulbright FLTA Program 2025

It’s a funded non-degree course by the US Government for the young English teachers of Pakistan. During the 9 months stay, FLTAs will assist 20 hours of language classes a week and are required to enroll in at least 2 courses per semester.

Who can Apply?

  • Applicant must be a Pakistani national
  • English teacher teaching at the college/university level
  • Preference is given to Young teachers with 1-8 years experience
  • At least 16 years of education (bachelor’s degree or Combine Bachelor, Master)

Who can not Apply?

  • Dual US/Pakistan nationality holders are not eligible to apply
  • Employees and contractors of Fulbright, USAID, or USEFP can not apply

Program Grants

All the selected FLTA’s will receive:

  • Monthly stipend
  • Travel Support
  • Health Insurance
  • Tuition Fee for the course work
  • Accommodation in campus

The Application process is through the official United States education Foundation portal. You need to submit an online application along with academic transcripts and letters of reference.
