To all the passionate students, what could be better than having an immersive winter experience in China through a fully funded Winter Camp? Well, pack your bags, China is calling! Applications are open for the USTC International Winter Camp 2026. A prestigious, fully funded winter camp for international students, hosted by the University of Science & Technology of China (USTC), offers an incredible opportunity to highly motivated and dynamic students from all around the world to immerse themselves in a dynamic learning environment at one of China’s most renowned institutions.
USTC is calling for applications from students currently pursuing Bachelor’s or master’s degrees at recognized institutes. There are no country restrictions; applicants from all around the world are invited to submit their applications. Chinese Nationals are not eligible to apply. The duration. It’s a 10-day immersive winter camp that will run from December 22 – 31, 2025, at Hefei, one of the most dynamic Chinese cities. The winter camp consists of expert lectures, lab tours, and Chinese lessons, followed by the field trips. Moreover, you will also have an opportunity to explore Chinese culture and its lifestyle.
The USTC offers scholarship support to outstanding students to participate in this winter camp without worrying about finances. The scholarship covers travel subsidy, medical insurance, accommodation, and a stipend. The application window for the USTC winter camp is currently open. Eligibility Criteria
The USTC has set the following criteria to be eligible for the camp:
- The USTC winter camp is open to all nationalities
- Chinese citizens are not eligible to apply
- Students must be in good physical & Mental health
- Have excellent English communication skills
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree program
- Students who have graduated and are interested in furthering their learning at USTC may also apply
*Applicants who have previously participated in the winter camp cannot apply
