- Nationality: Applicants must belong to one of the 30 eligible countries
- Age criteria:
- Bachelors & Initial Masters: Not more than 35 years old
- Advanced Masters: Not more than 45 years old
- Experience: Preference is given to candidates employed in government, higher education, or civil society.
- Fresh Graduates: Recent graduates with no experience working in the private sector are also considered
- Previously Received Scholarship: Applicants who have previously received a scholarship grant from the government of Belgium are not eligible to apply.
