About WMO DPPD Internship
It’s a full-time, on-site internship program in Geneva, Switzerland. The program is offered to students enrolled in a master’s degree program or to those who have completed a degree in international development, economics, international relations, communication, or related fields.
Selected Interns will work in the Private Sector and Philanthropic Engagement Unit, supporting the following activities:
- Prepare company, foundation, and partner profiles
- Support meetings with companies and organizations
- Prepare agendas, notes, and meeting summaries
- Supporting background research
- Maintain the partner records
- Prepare presentations and communications materials
- Assist with any other task assigned
Eligiblity Criteria
You must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the WMO internship position:
- Open to all nationalities
- Enrolled in an undergraduate, master’s, or PhD program
- Recent graduates may also apply
- An academic background in international development, business, economics, international relations, law, climate studies, or a related field
- Interest in areas such as partnerships, international development, sustainability, research and communication, and international organizations
- No prior work experience required
