About the World Bank Treasury internship
The treasury internship is designed for talented college seniors who have a keen interest in starting their careers in the financial industry. The internship is offered to both US and non-U.S. nationals. The duration of the internship is 10 weeks, which is scheduled to take place from May 26 to August 3, 2026, in Washington, DC. All the selected interns have to work full-time for the duration of the program. During the internship program, interns will be engaged in various learning opportunities, such as weekly discussions with experts, technical & career focuses sessions with directors and managers of the group.

Who can Apply?
The treasury internship is accepting applications from applicants who fulfill the following requirements:

- Students are currently in the 3rd year of a 4-year degree program in the areas related to economics, finance, business, or related fields.
- Must commit full-time internship for 10 weeks in Washington, DC

- Intern Onboarding: 26-9, May
- The internship will be held in 3 rotations:
- Rotation 1: June 1 – June 19, 2026
- Rotation 2: June 22 – July 10, 2026
- Rotation 3: July 13 – July 31, 2026
- Final Presentation: August 3, 2026

Application Evaluation Process
A selection committee will shortlist the applications, and successful applicants will have to go through a remote test. Those who pass the test will be invited to the interview with the committee. The result will be announced by December 2025
