Paris is calling! UNESCO in the framework of the World Heritage Education Programme and support of the Republic of Bulgaria is inviting applications for the “World Heritage Young Professional Forum 2025”. The forum will take place from 1-8 July 2025 at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. UNESCO is inviting applications from young professionals Aged between 23-32 years who have experience in architecture, archaeology, conservation, urban planning, art history, or heritage-related study to apply. The forum aims to enhance the knowledge and expertise of young professionals to preserve, protect, and promote cultural world heritage through emerging technologies.
For the session 2025, the forum will gather 25 young professionals from all around the world. The participants will enhance their knowledge and expertise through a combination of presentations, workshops, and virtual on-site visits, and at the end of the program, they have to present their work at the 47th session of the World Heritage Committee. This is a fully funded program all the costs related to the forum including Economy class flights, Accommodation, Local Transporation, and visa fees will be covered by the host organization, read more details below.

Theme
The theme of the forum is “World Heritage in an Interconnected World: Leveraging Digital Technologies and Innovative Approaches” which focuses on preserving and promoting world heritage in a rapidly changing world with the use of emerging technologies (Artificial Intelligence, Drones, 3D Modeling, AR/VR).
Eligibility Criteria:
- The forum is inviting applications from all nationals
- Age requirement: 23-32 years old
- Interest in one of the fields of conservation, restoration, architecture, archaeology, urban planning, art history, or heritage-related studies
- Experience in digital technologies concerning world heritage
- Motivated to implement the forum outcomes in their respective communities
- Must be available during the program dates
- Proficiency in English/French Language
- Active in world heritage protection and promotion
