The objective of the WTO leaders programme is to provide valubale insights into the WTO’s work and build a network of young trade leaders worldwide. The leadership programme invites applications from young leaders aged 18-28 from WTO member states who have a strong interest in international research and a clear understanding of how research can benefit people and the planet. The trainee program lasts 1 year, followed by a key in-person event at WTO HQ, Geneva, in September 2026.
