The applications for the Youth For Energy Futures 2025, one of the amazing youth programmes in Europe, is closing soon! If you haven’t applied yet, you still have time. For those who are not aware of this program, let’s give you a brief intro. Virage Énergie, in collaboration with Heinrich Böll Foundation, is offering a prestigious “Youth for Energy Futures programme” and inviting applications from young intellectuals from Italy, France, and Germany to apply and have an opportunity to discover the challenges related to ecological and energy transition in Europe.
The program aims to equip young leaders with valuable skills, knowledge, and networks so they can become the ambassadors for a fairer and greener society. This year’s edition of the program revolves around an exciting theme, “Links between gender equality and the energy transition,” that focuses on how the energy transition can be an opportunity to fight social inequalities, including gender, city planning, etc.
The program will kick start with an online workshop in September, where participants will find out about the interdependencies b/w gender equality and energy transition, followed by a study trip to Freiburg and Strasbourg scheduled to take place from the 19th to the 24th of October, 2025.
The program is inviting applications from young individuals aged 20 to 29 years old with having interest in energy and ecological transitions, intercultural exchange, and social justice issues to apply. The project offers comprehensive financial support, and the participants will be provided with travel, Accommodation, and catering fees for the duration of the program. The application process is online – the last date for the submission of the application is June 15th, 2025.Â
