Faith for Our Planet (FFOP), in collaboration with Duke University’s divinity school, is organizing the fellowship from May 24 to 30, 2025, in North Carolina, USA.

The fellowship is a fully funded, week-long residential program at Duke University. It consists of lectures, interactive sessions, policy dialogues, and vocational training, providing the fellow with the opportunity to explore various ecological themes to develop skills and create groundbreaking climate action projects for their respective communities.

FFOP is a global non-profit organization that facilitates collaborations between policymakers and grassroots activities related to climate education and training, fostering a chain of engagements between the Global North and South.

The fellowship initiative by the FFOP will assist young climate leaders in mastering the curating of climate awareness initiatives and action projects resonating with the multicultural context, as well as strengthening inclusivity, trust, justice, and mobilization.

After completing the program, the fellows will become members of the Faith for Our Planet (FFOP) Fellowship Alumni Association.

Who can apply?

To be eligible for the fellowship, you need to fulfill the following criteria:

  • The candidate must meet the age requirement of between 20 and 30 years old and have relevant education, volunteer experience, and/or work experience in fields related to the fellowship themes.
  • Access to a social, professional, or religious network is required, as is consenting to mobilize an accessible mass group of people.
