To all the young changemakers working in environmental sustainability and climate action, we are here with an exciting opportunity! Applications are open for the UNESCO Youth Impact Program 2025, Youth Impact is an initiative of UNESCO in collaboration with Nestle, powered by the Nestle Youth Entrepreneurship platform. The objective of the Youth Impact is to empower young change-makers to help their communities through climate action and environmental sustainability initiatives and support them by providing skills and resources to implement their projects. 100 leaders from allacross the world will be selected and will receive a grant of USD 8,500 each moreover they will also receive training and mentorship from the Nestle experts throughout their project implementation.
The program is seeking applications for youth-led projects focusing on climate change, sustainable food systems, regenerative agriculture, and packaging sustainability. All interested applicants need to submit their project proposal before 8th April 2025. Eligibility Criteria:
To be eligible for the program you must meet the following eligibility criteria:
- The Youth Impact is inviting applications from all nationals
- Age requirement 18-30 Years old from the beginning to end of the project
- Individuals engage in change-making initiatives individually or as associations
- Groups working at local, national, or regional levels.
- Chapters of international organizations operating in their own country.
Project Requirement
- The projects must align with the focus areas mentioned above
- Projected must be completed within 6 months
- The project must be local or national in scope
- Led by 3 people with an identified project leader
Total Grants
- A total of 100 grants worth USD 8,500 each will be awarded
- 20 Grants each designated for the UNESCO regions:
- Africa, the Arab Region, Asia and Pacific, Europe and North America, and Latin America and the Caribbean
