Belgium Master Mind Scholarships 2025-26 (Grant €10.000/Year)

The Flemish Ministry of Education and Training offers prestigious “Master Mind Scholarships 2025-26” to outstanding students from all around the world who want to pursue full-time master’s degree programs in one of the participating Flemish Higher education institutes.  The master’s degree programs are available in a wide range of academic fields and majors, and applicants belonging to diverse academic backgrounds can apply. The Flemish Government has reserved several scholarships for the citizens of Japan, Mexico, Palestine, and the USA applicants from these countries are highly encouraged to apply.

The Master Mind Scholarship offers comprehensive support to outstanding students, the support includes a grant of €10000 + tuition fee waiver per academic year to cover accommodation, insurance costs, and living expenses for the duration of the degree program. All interested candidates make sure to submit your application by 27th April 2025, late applications won’t be entertained. No Application fee will be charged to any candidates while applying for the Master Mind Scholarship and each individual can submit 20 applications per Flemish Higher Education Institution. Degree Duration

The duration of the full-time master’s degree program is:

  • One Academic Year for 60 ECTS
  • Two Academic years for 120 ECTS

Scholarship Coverage

The Master Mind scholarship offers a grant of €10. 000 + a tuition fee waiver/Year to bear the expenses of:

  • Accommodation
  • Insurances
  • Living expenses

*The grant is offered in installments

Who can Apply?

Master Mind scholarship is inviting applications from applicants fulfilling the following criteria:

  • Applicants holding any nationality (Except Russians) are eligible to apply
  • Applicants must have excellent academic record
  • Students have secured a GPA of 3.5 out of 4.0
  • English language proof IELTS 7.0 | TOEFL 94
  • English Language Proof for a School of Arts IELTS 6.5 | TOEFL 90
  • Online TOEFL/IELTS tests are also accepted
  • Must be accepted by one of the Flemish host institutes to receive a scholarship

Ineligibility

  • Students enrolling in Preparatory, Bridging, and distance learning programs
  • Previous degree (eg bachelor’s) must not be taken in Flemish institute
  • Students already pursuing their degree in Flemish institutes are not eligible

Priority Countries

The flemish government is offering scholarships to all the nationals although it has reserved several scholarship slots for the citizens of the following countries:

  • Japan – 3
  • Palestine – 2
  • Mexico – 3
  • USA – 5

The application process consists of the following steps:

  • Step 1: Make sure you are meeting the criteria for the Flemish Institutes
  • Step 2: Submit your application before the host institute deadline
  • Step 3: Host institutes evaluate and select the eligible application
  • Step 4: The host institute starts the application procedure for the scholarship
  • Step 5: Selected applicants will receive a preselection email via the mobility online system
