Applications are open for the ICYF International Media Training Camp 2025. The ICYF, in collaboration with TRT, is hosting this prestigious camp and inviting applications from young intellectuals passionate about journalism to apply.
The international media camp “Journalism for Juniors” is exclusively designed for young men and women (Aged 18-25 years) from OIC member countries who have an interest in storytelling, Journalism, and Digital news production. The duration of the training camp is 6 days, which will be held in one of Turkey’s captivating cities, Antalya. The camp aims to empower young journalists on the journey of digital storytelling and news reporting by using the daily tools.
A tailored program offers an incredible opportunity to young people to gain skills and knowledge in storytelling, field production, mobile journalism, journalism basics, and field production. Event Dates & Location
The event dates for the training camp are separate for Male and female candidates, which are:
- Men: 8-13 September, 2025
- Women: 15-20 September, 2025
- Event Location: Alaaddin Keykubat Gençlik Kampı , Antalya
Eligibility Criteria
- The program is accepting applications from muslim youth belonging to one of the 57 OIC member states and Muslim minorities from the non-OIC member states
- Have good English communication skills
- Applicants aged between 18-25 years old
- Have an interest in journalism
- Passionate to learn about media and related topics
- Involved in or have experience in media-related projects
- Committed to attending the entire training program

- Empower young journalists to understand the reliability of the media
- Share your media experience with other participants
- Involve youth in media participation
- Build interest among youth in the media sector
