Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants meeting the following criteria are eligible to apply for the CERN Origin programme:

  • Holding the nationality of a CERN Member or Associate Member state
  • Applicants holding a university degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s) or a General Secondary education diploma
  • Have graduated within the last 2 years at the time of application
  • Possesses less than 2 years of post-graduation work experience
  • Previously did not participate in the CERN program in a similar capacity
  • Proficiency in English or French language

Ineligiblity

  • Applicants are not nationals of CERN or Associate member states
  • Already participated in the CERN program
  • Possesses more than 2 years of post-graduation work experience
