Fasten your seat belts as Geneva is calling! Applications are open to apply for the OHCHR Indigeneous Fellowship Program for the 2026 session. A prestigious fellowship program established in 1997 by the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) offers an incredible opportunity for indigenous persons to gain valuable knowledge about the United Nations system and its mechanisms, particularly in dealing with issues such as human rights and indigenous peoples.
After the successful completion of the fellowship program, the fellows will be able to assist their organizations and communities in protecting their rights. The best part of the fellowship program is that it is being offered in four different languages (Portuguese, French, Spanish & English), making it more accessible for everyone. The duration of the fellowship program is 4 weeks, which is scheduled to take place in Geneva, Switzerland, from June to July 2026. The OHCR fellowship offers comprehensive support that covers all costs related to the program, including air travel, Health insurance, and living expenses for the duration of the program.
