Call for applications for the GovAI Research Fellowship 2026. The Governance of AI (GOVAI) is pleased to announce its research fellowship position and invites applications from talented researchers interested in artificial intelligence, public policy, technology governance, or AI safety from across the world. The selected fellows will join GovAI on a two-year contract with the possibility of extension. The selected fellows will conduct high-quality research and contribute to discussions that influence companies, government, and other decision-makers. There are no strict requirements; GovAI welcomes applicants from a variety of academic and professional backgrounds with established expertise in an area relevant to AI governance.     • London: £84,000–£103,500 per year.
    • Washington, DC: $134,500–$170,000 per year.
