Applications are open for the ITRI Taiwan Internship Program 2026. A fully funded internship offered by the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) is designed for highly talented and motivated students from around the world to gain hands-on technical research experience. Since 2006, the ITRI has been hosting 35 students each summer for an internship in Taiwan. The programme is highly competitive as internship seats are limited; students with excellent academic achievements are invited to submit their applications.
The research institute is inviting applications from talented students currently pursuing their bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.d degree programs in life sciences, engineering and technology, business and strategy, computer science & IT, or related fields from recognized institutes. The duration of the programme is 2-3 months, commencing between May and September 2026. The host institute covers all costs of interns related to the program. The coverage includes a monthly stipend, on-campus accommodation, and comprehensive health coverage.
The ITRI internship does not require an application fee. While applying, the application is online and accepted on a rolling basis. There is no specific deadline to apply. Eligiblity Criteria
- ITRI global internship is accepting applications from all nationals
- Students are currently pursuing their bachelor’s, master’s & PhD degree programmes in recognized international institutes.
- Applicants must maintain full-time student status for the entire internship
- Profiency in the English language, No IELTS/TOEFL is required
- Must commit to full-time in-person participation
Internship Coverage
