About the MIDE Programme
The duration of the degree is 18 months and consists of 3 semesters. The program focuses on the development of economics, trade policy, poverty reduction, and macroeconomic planning. In the first 12 months, students will go through the 14 course modules, and the final phase last six months, is dedicated to thesis writing and defending.

How to Apply for the DAAD MIDE Master’s Program 2026?
The application process is online via offical HTW Berlin MIDE Application Portal. Applicants meeting the required criteria need to register on the offical portal and fill out the online application form for the program. DAAD applicants need to select the scholarship option within the same application form to be considered for the scholarship. No Application fee is required to apply for the program.
