About Internship
It’s a home-based, remote internship program offered by the UNDP that provides students and recent graduates with an opportunity to gain practical work experience by working on technology and development challenges. The interns will gain practical exposure to how digital technologies, AI, data, and innovation can be used to support development work. The program is part of the UNDP’s Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) and its Digital, AI and Innovation Hub.
During the programme, the interns will contribute to:
- Research, digital products, data work, policy support, AI-related initiatives, communications, and knowledge management.
Who can Apply?
Applicants meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:
- The position is open to all nationalities.
- Be enrolled in a master’s degree program or higher.
- Be enrolled in the final year of an undergraduate program or its equivalent.
- Recent graduates who can start the internship within one year of graduation.
- Interested in technology, artificial intelligence, data, digital development, innovation, public policy, research, and international development.
- Fluency in English.
