It’s a fully funded residency program offered by the Fondation Jan Michalski, one of the most renowned foundations dedicated to supporting literature and writers. The program invites applications from passionate writers, translators, and creative professionals working on projects where literature is at the heart.

The program offers residencies ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months at the foundation in Montricher, Switzerland. About Switzerland Residency Programme 2026

It’s a fully funded residency program offered by the Fondation Jan Michalski. The program offers writers and translators a dedicated space and time to focus on literary projects in Montricher, at the foot of the Swiss Jura mountains, about a one-hour drive from Geneva. The residency program welcomes a range of writing forms and languages; however, priority is given to literary writers and translators. Around 40 authors from different parts of the world will participate this year.

Program Duration
