Who can Apply?

Candidates meeting the following criteria are invited to apply:

Be enrolled in or have completed a bachelor’s degree or higher in publishing, graphic design, language studies, Multilingual Communication, Document Production, Linguistics, or another relevant field.

  • No prior work experience required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Able to work independently and in a team
  • Chinese must be a mother tongue
  • Excellent command of the English language
  • Knowledge of Russian, French, and Arabic would be a plus
  • Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application

Interns Role

Selected interns will work with the Language Services and Publications team and support:

  • Proofread and finalize Chinese documents
  • Support the layout and production of documents
  • Improve Chinese content in the WMO translation system.
  • Translate materials from English into Chinese.
  • Perform other related tasks assigned by the team.
