About WBG Analytical Fellowship

It’s a fully funded fellowship program offered by the World Bank Group that helps government professionals better understand how to use data to identify real problems, improve management, and make decisions. During the 6-month fellowship, participants will receive training and guidance from experts at the World Bank and UCL and develop a Government Analytical project for their government organization.

Who can Apply?

To be eligible for the World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship, you must meet the following requirements:

  • Be a government employee working in a central government organization
  • Hold a mid-level management or senior analyst position
  • Be nominated by their organization
  • Be fluent in spoken and written English
  • Must be available to attend in-person training in Washington, DC
  • Have university-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative methods.
  • Students and recent graduates are not eligible to apply
