Hosted by the Academic of Research and Higher Education (ARES), this fully funded scholarship program in Europe offers an excellent opportunity for students and young professionals from 32 ARES partner countries to undertake specialized bachelor’s, master’s, and continuing education courses at leading higher education institutions in the Wallonia-Brussels Federation of Belgium.
The ARES International training scholarship aims to develop advanced academic and professional skills so recipients can contribute to the development of their home communities. The specialized degree lasts 1 year, while continuing education courses last 2-6 months. The scholarship is funded by the Government of Belgium and managed by ARES. Available Courses
The ARES scholarship covers three types of specialized courses that are
- Specialized Bachelors
- Specialized Masters
- Continuing training courses
Program Duration
- Bachelor’s & Specialized Master’s Degree: 12 Months
- Continuing training: 6 Months
ARES Scholarship Coverage
Applicants receive the following support:
- International airfare expenses
- Living allowance to cover basic expenses
- Insurance
- Study-related costs
- Full tuition fees
- Training-related travel expenses
Who can Apply?
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria:
- Be a national of an eligible ARES partner country
- Meet the required criteria for the selected programme
- Hold a graduate degree and meet the admission requirements
- Meet the programme language requirement
- Possess relevant professional experience
- Demonstrate a clear connection between your background and the selected training
Eligible Countries:
- Southeast Asia: Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines, Vietnam.
- Asia: Palestine.
- Africa: Benin, Mozambique, Niger, DR Congo, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Tanzania, Tunisia, Uganda and Zimbabwe. Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cameroon, Ethiopia, Guinea, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Madagascar, Mali, Morocco,
