Fellowship Duration 

  • The duration of the fellowship is between 6 weeks or 3 months that will be held in one of participating host organization later in this post we will also mention the list of participating organization.

Who can Apply?

To be eligible for the fellowship you must fulfill the following criteria set for the fellowship:

  • Applicants belonging from Middle income countries are eligible
  • Applicants granted with the refugee status by commonwealth can also apply
  • Be a permanent resident of commonwealth country
  • Have at least 5 years of work experience in the subject related to fellowship.
  • Must be employed at an organization at time of application
  • Atleast 2 references from current employer.
  • Have not participated in the commonwealth fellowship in last 5 years
  • Available for the fellowship on prescribe dates

Note: The fellows must also ensure they meet the eligibility criteria set by the host organization.

Eligible Countries

Citizens from the following countries can participate in the fellowship:

  • Bangladesh, Belize, Botswana, Cameroon, Dominica, Eswatini, Fiji, Gabon, The Gambia, Ghana, Grenada, Guyana, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Kiribati, Lesotho, Malawi, Malaysia, Maldives, Mauritius, Montserrat, Mozambique, Namibia, Nauru, Nigeria, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Rwanda, St Helena, St Lucia, St Vincent and The Grenadines, Samoa, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Togo, Tonga, Tuvalu, Uganda, Vanuatu, Zambia.

Fellowship Coverage:

Following financial assistance is provided to the fellows:

  • Return Airfare tickets for the fellows
  • Reimbursement of visa application fees
  • Stipend of  £2,057 per month for the duration of the internship
  • Stipend of £2,553 per month for organizations in the Londin
  • Applicants with disabilities will be provided with additional support
  • Fellows will receive an arrival allowance of £1,156.60
  • A maximum of  £3,000 per fellow by the host organization for the conferences and short courses.
