1. CYF Master’s Thesis Fellowship
The master’s thesis fellowship is designed for students currently in the master’s degree passionate about doing research in cybersecurity and data sciences. The fellows are offered with generous fund for six months to cover their research funds and living allowance during their stay in Switzerland. The fellows will complete their Master’s thesis under the supervision of a renowned supervisor at the participating Higher education institute in Switzerland.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s thesis fellowship is open to all nationals
- There are no Age restrictions
- Students enrolled in a Master’s degree program
- Applicants must be pursuing their degree program at higher education institutes in Switzerland
- Receive endorsement from the institute professor willing to supervise
Funding
- Living Allowance: A monthly stipend of CHF 2’500.
- Research Costs: A research allowance of CHF 1’500

2. CYD Doctoral Fellowships
The CYD Doctoral Fellowships are designed for researchers at the doctoral level willing to engage in research related to cyber defence. Fellows are offered generous support, the coverage includes salary, research, and conference funds for the duration of 4 years with a possible one-year extension. The CYD doctoral fellows will complete their PhD thesis at the CYD campus under the supervision of a renowned supervisor at a Higher education institution in Switzerland.

The Doctoral fellowship is accepting applications from all nationalities

- Applicants must be enrolled in the doctoral program at a Swiss Higher education institution
- Endorsement from the professor of the Swiss institute to supervise you

- Willing to conduct research in a different laboratory from their doctoral laboratory
