The Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations has recently announced a call for the expression of Interest for an internship programme at its FAO HQ in Rome, Italy, and invites applications from talented and highly motivated students and recent graduates from across the world. The internship is designed for talented men and women who are motivated to share new ideas, perspectives, and their academic experience in FAO domains.
It’s a 3 to 11-month internship program in Rome, Italy, during which interns will gain hands-on experience while working on FAO high-impact projects under an assigned supervisor in an international environment. The programme aims to bridge your theoretical classroom knowledge with a practical work assignment in the FAO domains. This is your chance to gain skills, knowledge, and networks, and to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. It’s a paid internship program.

Eligibility Criteria
FAO invities applications from applicants fulfilling the following criteria:
- Accepting applications from citizens of FAO member countries
- Students enrolled in undergraudate/graduate degree programs at educational institutions recognized by the World Higher Education Database.
- Recent graduates can also apply
- Applicants’ age must be between 21 & 30 years old at the time of application
- Students must be pursuing their degrees in the areas relevant to FAO domains, such as Economic & Policy, Agriculture and food systems, Data & Technology, Finance, Administration, and related fields.
- Fleuncy is one of the official languages
