Application call for the Global Youth Climate Training Programme 2024! The Global Youth Coalition (CYG) in collaboration with Oxford University is offering this free online training program. A great opportunity to learn about international climate policy from the comfort of your home, guided by renowned Oxford researchers.
The curriculum of the program is Environmental change accompanied by interactive workshops on Youth-led projects. The duration of the program is 1 month which will be held online. After the Completion of the program participants would be awarded with the Oxford-recognized certifications in Climate policy. Applicants Aged 18-35 from all around the world are invited to apply for this Youth Climate Training Programme.
Through this program, participants will gain expertise in high-demand skills that will set them up for a successful career prospect. Additionally, participants can apply for a £3000 bursary to participate in (UN Climate Change Conference) CoP29

Why GYCT Program 2024?
The project is under Oxford University’s Net Zero Initiative in collaboration with the Global Youth Coalition (GYC), which is working hard to equip the youth with valuable skills and knowledge.
The program covers topics of Climate Finance, Loss & Damage, Adaptation & Resilience, and more. This a great opportunity to meet world leader activists, share ideas, and work together on a more Eco-friendly Earth as we have got #onlyoneearth
Program Duration:
- The duration of the training program is 1 month, starting from 3 September till 1 October 2024.
Who can Apply?
- Applicants aged 16 – 35 years are eligible
- People who have worked in the field related to climate change
- Knowledge of what the UN has been doing to cater to the Climate change urgency.
- Passion to learn about climate action and diplomacy.
- A clear understanding of why you need to join the training program.
- Time commitment, 10 sessions in total, 1.5 hours each.
- Knowledge of CoP 29 ( 2024 United Nations Climate Change Conference) which is going to be held on 11 Nov, 2024.
How to Apply for Global Youth Climate Training Program?
Application Process for CoP 29 bursary :
i) Apply for the Global Youth Climate Training Program 2024.
ii) If your application is accepted, you will be asked to fill out another form. This form is for people who want financial help (called a bursary) to attend the CoP 29 event.
- CoP 29 is a UN meeting about climate change, and the bursary can help cover costs like travel, accommodation, food, and Transport.
- If you want to attend CoP 29 but need financial help, you will have the chance to say so in the second form.
iii) Preference shall be given to applicants representing diverse regions and groups impacted by climate change.
