The government of Sindh, Pakistan, has announced a scholarship program awarding 1000 Google Career Certificates Scholarships to students from 10 public universities around the province. The program aims to improve digital skills among Sindh’s young students and local graduates’ employability in the information, communication, and technology (ICT) sectors.
TECH Valley has recently signed an MoU with the Universities & Boards department to facilitate Google career certifications for students in Sindh’s public higher education department. The program commits to gender equality in tech education by designating 50% of the scholarships for female students.
Students pursuing Bachelor’s and Master’s in the selected public universities of Sindh can apply through the respective website of the University. Once they meet the eligibility criteria they shall be informed of the selection for the scholarship either by their University or Tech Valley. Selected students shall enroll and begin their online coursework and training for the selected program consisting of modules, assignments, and projects. After the Completion of the program, students shall be offered Google Certification.
