The higher education commission has recently launched Phase 2, Batch Vl of the interim Placement program through its official portal for the nationals of Pakistan.
The program is specifically designed for Fresh PhD graduates to provide them with real-world academic experience. The duration of the program is one year during which the selected applicants will be placed in Higher Education Commission Institutions & Federal/Provisional Government Post-Graduate degree colleges. The program aims to equip fresh graduates with teaching, research, and professional skills that will help them for long-term success in academia. Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for the program, applicants need to fulfill the following criteria:
- Applicants holding the nationality of Pakitan
- Age at the time of applying must not be more than 40 years
- Candidates holding a PhD degree in an academic field from a recognized institute
- Have published at least 2 research publications
- Only unemployed applicants are eligible to apply
- Candidates with contractual jobs may also submit the application
- Previously not availed of IPFP Fellowship
Program Coverage
The program provides the following support:
- A monthly stipend of 150,000 PKR
- Voluntary benefits schemes include voluntary pension schemes and health insurance
Program Overview
- HEC will circulate the list of successful candidates with recognized institutes to select the suitable applicant
- Once the institute shortlists an applicant, the selected applicants will go through four weeks of Outstanding training under the supervision of highly reputed international and national trainers
- HEC will make a placement at the host institution for one year
Program Benefits:
- Fellows will receive free training under the National Faculty Development program.
- After the successful completion of the training, candidates will get continuous capacity-building opportunities
- Placement of applicants at Higher education institutes for one year
- Mentors will be assigned to each fellow who will facilitate them throughout the program
- HEC will pay a remuneration of 150,000 Pkr/month

The application process is online through the HEC official portal, followed by hardcopy. interested applicants need to provide the following documents while applying for the program

- An updated Curriculum Vitae
- A state of purpose not exceeding (150 Words)
- List of Publications
- Abstract of PhD dissertation
- Scanned copies of PhD Degrees, Bachelor’s, Master’s degrees, and CNIC
- Three letters of reference
- Selection of Test center for the pre-assessment test
- An amount of 3000 Pkr is to be deposited in favor of the Director General Finance, HEC, in account number 1742-79001334-01, Habib Bank Limited.
