Fellowship Coverage
The fellowship offers generous support to the PhD students, the coverage includes:
- A monthly stipend of £1,900
- One-time payment of £200 on arrival in the UK
- Round-trip economy-class air tickets
- Payment for the visa application and biometrics
- Transport allowance
Eligiblity Criteria
Applicants must fulfill the following criteria to apply for the fellowship:
- Holding a citizenship of a Least Developed or Lower Middle-income country
- Currently pursuing a PhD degree program at one of the institutions in LMIC or LDC countries
- Completed 12 months of your degree program at the time of placement
- Secure a letter of support from the host supervisor at Imperial College.
- The letter of support must be duly signed by the head of the department
- Letter of Recommendation from your own supervisor

- Individuals holding dual British citizenship
- Not a permanent resident of an eligible country
- Pursuing their PhD degree in a country other than LDC or LMIC
