iSEA Fellowship Program 2026 in Singapore | Fully Funded

iSEA Fellowship Program 2026 in Singapore is a hybrid, one-month, fully funded fellowship program organized by the Centre for Information Integrity and the Internet (IN-cube) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), in partnership with the Temasek Foundation. The program will bring together 40 young, creative students from across Southeast Asia, China, and India to participate in immersive online masterclasses and mentorship, industry visits, and a one-week trip to Singapore. The fellowship invites applications from young student creators who are engaged in important conversations about information integrity, media ethics, and the power of storytelling in the age of AI. About ISEA Fellowship Program 2026

It’s a fully funded, month-long, hybrid fellowship program for student creators who are already creating content and want to learn to use digital media more meaningfully in the age of AI. Through masterclasses, mentorship, and weekly in-person workshops in Singapore, fellows will learn about misinformation, media ethics, AI in storytelling, fact-checking, online harms, and immersive journalism.

Fellowship Coverage

The fellowship is fully funded; fellows will receive the following support for the in-person hackathon week in Singapore:

  • Return airfare coverage
  • 6 nights stay
  • Meals during the program
  • Daily stipend
  • Programme-related expenses

The fellows will visit leading organizations such as TikTok, MediaCorp, and SPH Media to gain better insights into how major media and technology platforms handle information integrity.

Who can Apply?

  • You are a citizen or resident of Southeast Asia, China, or India.
  • Be 16–25 years old if you are a creator in Singapore.
  • Be 18–25 years old if you are a creator from another eligible country.
  • Be currently enrolled at a junior college, polytechnic, university, or another post-secondary institution.
  • You can receive a nomination or endorsement from your institution.
  • You have at least 1,000 followers on a social media platform.
  • You regularly create and publish content.
  • Your content can be on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or another platform.
  • You are available to participate in the full program.

Fellowship Features

The fellowship is delivered in three phases:

1. Online Master classes

In this phase, fellows will attend 3 weeks of online sessions focused on the following topics:

  • misinformation
  • media ethics
  • AI literacy,
  • fact-checking.

2. Industry Visits

In this phase, fellows will visit the leading media and technology organizations.

3. Hackathon

In this phase, fellows will work in teams to develop solutions to real-world information integrity challenges under the mentorship of renowned experts

  • In-person workshop & Hackathon: 7-12 December 2026
