Applications are open for the Kyoto Retreat 2025, which is scheduled to take place from 16th October – 13 November 2025 at Kyoto, one of the vibrant cultural centers of Japan.
A fully funded residency program in Japan, inviting applications from self-motivated and talented artists, curators, and writers from all around the world to apply and have an opportunity to spend time in Japan while engaging in research and exploration. The retreat program offers an exciting opportunity to the participants to have an immersive 4-day experience in Japan, delve into the Japanese culture, and meet and build connections with fellows from retreats from all around the world.
The Kyoto retreat program is seeking applications from writers, curators, and visual artists aged over 21 years from any part of the world, regardless of race, religion, or gender. The program offers comprehensive support to cover all the costs related to the program, which includes round-trip flight, private accommodation, meals, and local transportation for the duration of the program. The application process is online. No application fee is associated with the retreat program. Interested applicants need to submit their application by July 15th, 2025.
