Applications are open for the Mekong Institute Project Internship 2026 in Bangkok, Thailand. A full-time, paid internship program offered by the Mekong Institute (MI) under the Mekong–Republic of Korea Cooperation Fund (MKCF) welcomes applications from all nationalities. The internship lasts 6 months and will run from October 1st, 2026. The internship is designed for graduates or those currently pursuing a postgraduate degree in international relations, development studies, economics, business administration, communication, project management, and related fields, offering an excellent opportunity to gain practical exposure to development projects involving Mekong countries and the Republic of Korea. Who can Apply?
Candidates meeting the following criteria can apply:
- Open to all nationalities
- Be a graduate or currently pursuing postgraduate studies in International Relations, International Development, Development Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Business Administration, Political Science, Regional Studies, Communications, Project Management, and related fields.
- Demonstrate interest in Mekong regional cooperation and international development projects.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Canva
- Previous work experience through internships or volunteering in an international organization would be an assett
- Good organizational, writing, and communication skills

Interns Responsibilities
