Yes, you heard it right, Applications are invited to apply for the Mexico Government Scholarships for the session 2024. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in collaboration with International Development Cooperation is inviting applications for the Mexican Government Scholarships 2024. Foreigners from 180 countries can pursue Undergraduate, Master, Doctoral, and Post Graduate research under this scholarship program.
More than 90 Mexican Higher Education institutes are participating in Government of Mexico Excellence Scholarships. The scholarship aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the nation by providing access to quality education. International students who are seeking international scholarship programs should not miss out on this opportunity, The scholarship application window will open on May 16, 2024, and will last till June 28th, 2024.
The Mexican Government will bear all the expenses of scholars including air travel tickets, Monthly Allowance, Visa costs, Health Insurance, and much more that we are going to discuss in detail later in this post. Scholarship Coverage
- Monthly Stipend: Scholars will be awarded a stipend to cover the living costs
- Tuition Fees: Tuition and Enrollment fees would be covered.
- Medical Coverage: A full medical coverage that will be valid from the seventh month.
- Visa Cost: Exemption from Mexican Visa Cost.
- Air Travel Cost: International travel costs to the country will be provided.
- National Transport: Local transportation cost is covered.
Eligibility Criteria
- The scholarship is open for nationals belonging to 180 countries you can check the list of eligible countries here.
- The scholarship offers undergraduate, Masters, Doctoral & Post Doctorate degree programs.
- Applicants must possess an excellent academic record.
- Applicants must not be living in Mexico
- You have to apply in the institute that is participating in the scholarship.

Application Materials
- A complete Application form duly signed.
- A letter that explains your motivation to study in Mexico (Max 2 Pages).
- An Updated CV (Should not exceed 3 pages).
- Acceptance Letter from the Mexican Institute.
- Copy of Birth certificate.
- Copy of Valid Passport.
- Documents that are not in the Spanish language must be accompanied by a simple translation into Spanish on a separate sheet.
- Documents must be submitted in PDF format in color
- The applicant’s signature on documents must match those on the passport.

How to Apply?
The application process for the Mexican Government Scholarships 2024 is online, interested applicants need to apply to the academic cooperation management system (SIGGA).
The application must be filled in the Spanish language. (Interested applicants may use any language translator to fill out the application form).
